My original plan for this website was to provide an easy way to find Christian sites on the Internet. Sites offering ministry, products and services. I will attempt to continue doing that, but the new focus will be on providing information about ways believers around the world are serving as salt and light.
I believe that as the Church, we are to reach out to a lost and hurting world . . . demonstrating the love of Jesus. I work fulltime in a ministry whose primary purpose is fulfilling the Great Commission (Living Free). Just this morning our pastor preached on being salt and light. He pointed out that Jesus told us to be in the world, but not of the world. We can't share Jesus unless we get out of church buildings and into the world.
Many people around the world are doing just that. They are out there touching people in need, actively serving them--following the example of our Savior. I would like to begin telling their story on christianconnectionsunlimited.com. It will be my hope and prayer that others will be encouraged and inspired and will prayerfully consider how they, too, can reach out.
As a subscriber, you will be among the first to learn about these ministries as I add them to the site. Perhaps God will give you some insight about what he wants you to do, how He wants you to reach out to others.
Maybe you are already involved in outreach ministry--to your neighbor, your co-workers, your city or somewhere across the world. Seeing what others are doing may encourage you, give you new ideas, or prompt you to pray for them.
Or if you have specific suggestions or questions about outreach ministry, I'd be happy to share them in the newsletter and ask for input from other subscribers.
